Please help me change folder's icons?

i want to know how to change a folder's icon..

i found a website which has cute buddy icons..

well i followed the directions but it won't work

(when i press ctrl and click on the icon nothing happens (for the justice one))

for the twilight one it automaticaly goes to saving and from there it doesn't work...

i go to a folder's property and go to change icon but everytime i do it it says .... icons not found.

I have windows vista

it is so frusturating..

please help me

For the justice one, it's actually buddy icons, not folder icons. That's why the instructions don't work for you.



What you did in changing the icon through the folder's property is correct, but you need to select an icon file (.ico) that you have downloaded to your computer. If you select any other type of files (.jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp, etc.), then I don't think it will work.



Also, make sure the file you have does not have a hidden file extension that is not an icon. For example, myicon.ico.txt may actually show up as my.ico with the .txt part not showing. You can check this by looking at the icon's property and make sure the file type is an icon.Please help me change folder's icons?
