On aim, how do you change your buddy icon to an icon you made, not a default?

Yeah, so, I have this buddy icon that I made but, I cant figure out how to put it on with the new aim. I was wondering if someone could please help me with that. It would be much appreciated. :DOn aim, how do you change your buddy icon to an icon you made, not a default?
Look in Edit preferences, Expressions. Click browse your PC and find what u want. I think it has to be like 48x48 pixels. Mine is my cat's face.On aim, how do you change your buddy icon to an icon you made, not a default?
go to the my aim tab at the top of your aim buddy list and scroll down to edit options and then go to edit prefernces. from there you go to expressions and you should see a pic of your current icon. go over to browse pc for the icon you created and look for it and then select it and just click apply.
