How do I send pictures from my PC to my PS3? The original black background is also not available? WTF?

Under ';theme settings'; there is a variety of colors to choose from excluding black? How do I get black back? I also want to import pictures for the background if I choose to change it. Also for my buddy icon thing. How do I send pictures from my PC to my PS3? The original black background is also not available? WTF?
You can always save your pictures onto a CD or other storage device (like an SD card) and then put it in your PS3, press triangle while hovering over the storage media, and copy it to your hard drive.

*media server guide- 1. Download and install Windows Media Player 11 (as I'm sure many of you already have).

2. Click on the Library tab

3. On the left you'll see a tree structure. Right click on Library in the tree structure.

4. Click Media Sharing

5. Enable your options, what folders, devices, etc. Further explanation

6. When your PS3 turns on and scans, Windows will pop up and ask if it's ok to allow the device. Allow it.

Also, Windows Media Player does not have to be open for media sharing to function. The computer and PS3 only need to be connected to the same router. The router should be UPnP enabled (Universal Plug-n-Play).

Be sure to remember to add files to the Windows Media Player library so they will be shared. Media Player can automatically scan for files. When I browse files on my PS3, I tend to browse by folder, so I don't worry about organization within Media Player or playlists.

also, the XMB wave turns black automatically at night, black isn't an option. How do I send pictures from my PC to my PS3? The original black background is also not available? WTF?
For the black you have to pick original at the top because that one changes to the time of day (Black = Night) but unfortunately you can't just pick black.

Sending pictures is done if both are connected via network or use a memory pen or something, even a CD. And I don't think you can have a custom buddy picture of your own, only the set that you pick in account settings.
It should automatically turn black when it's night time. You must have changed the color settings to another color thus it stayed that way. So, put the original back on.

You need to turn on your Media Sharing on your PC first and then the same on your PS3. Or you can download TVersity.

To change the buddy icon thing you need to go to account management. Good luck!
