NEED ANSWERS!!! HELP... PLEASE ANSWER!!! Help!?

I saw a buddy icon that I want on Coolbuddy.com but I don't know how to apply it. When I clicked on it to apply it, it said '; Page cannot be found'; It will only let me change it to the icons Aim provides. How do I change it to the one I saw????NEED ANSWERS!!! HELP... PLEASE ANSWER!!! Help!?
I'm assuming that you have to have AIM open when you do this.

I don't have AOL IM on this PC - but I'm sure you can change the icon yourself if you download the one that comes up on coolbuddy.com



the page that givces you the error is something like this:

aim:BuddyIcon?src=http://www.coolbuddy?br>


if you take off the first part - 'aim:BuddyIcon?src=' you'll get this:

http://www.coolbuddy.com/icon/smiley/sm_



then you can right click the picture that shows up and choose to save it to your local hard drive



then use AIM to change the icon to the image you saved.



of course, you'll have to do this for whatever icon you wanted.NEED ANSWERS!!! HELP... PLEASE ANSWER!!! Help!?
if the server doesn't let you do that then you can't do it.

How to change the dimensions on an image?

I have a buddy icon that I want to make my avatar on DeviantART. It's an image of The Guy, the grinny dude from Disturbed albums. He's a shockwave image, by which I mean his teeth flash.



I want to change his dimensions from 60 x 60 to 50 x 50 so I can use him as my avatar, but I don't know how to do that without making him into a static image.



How can I change The Guy's dimensions (I'm assuming that's the right word) without having to forfeit the flash of his teeth?How to change the dimensions on an image?
PhotoFiltre is a nice piece of freeware that I use all the time on my images.

photoshop does a good job at shrinking things with little distortion...
bleh...just use irfanview (google it) it's free, and really tiny...look for the 'resize/resample' option in the 'image' menu.... :) 'resample' ensures that the image isn't very distorted...

How do I make the buddy background on AIM white?

Like , where I have my icon and stuff. When I go to the expressions theres a whole bunch of colors, but white isn't one of them. I know it starts out white, but I've changed it and I wanna change it back. I can't figure it out. Does anyone know?? How do I make the buddy background on AIM white?
assuming you already know how to get to the change-wallpaper menu.



There isn't a completely white background, but the closest you're going to be able to get is if you click on ';objects'; and then click ';colors'; and go to the last page... there's an off-white background there, or click on ';objects'; and then ';fabrics'; and there's a few off-white backgrounds in there as well.

you go to iconator.com and download an icon. or, you could use a picture from your computer, if you go into setting, then expressions. youll have to find a small photo though.
You can first browse for pictures that are square, then copy them. Then you must re-size them to a smaller size. (not sure of exact size. look it u on google! :) also look up a program to resize it if you dont have one)

You can, it just has to be a certain sizeI have a question about AIM
go into preferences than there should be like an icon tab, click on that and you should be able to upload your own photo. remeber it has to be a very small pixels in order for it to upload. hope this helps
